Using a MobiCool instead of the fridge.

I have a 73 1300 Boler from Glass Fab. I've had the fridge working, but lately it seems to be giving me problems. Has anyone tried simply pulling the old fridge out and making room for a MobiCool unit from Canadian Tire? I haven't done the measurements yet, but they run 110/12. I did a cross-country drive with one simply in the car and it worked just fine. Having added a 12 volt system with solar recharging, it seems something to consider.
Not a real thermostat on them, but could offer some good options and even be removable when on-site for more storage.
Thoughts??
