Using Butyl tape

I am preparing to seal my windows on my 13' Scamp. I thought I would do this before the paint job. Is there any tricks I should know about?Can you seam the tape? If so, always on the bottom? Any information will be appreciated.

Yes, you can seam the tape. Just overlap it a little before you 'squish' it down with whatever you're sealing. It will end up 'seamless'.
