utilities access question

As I am considering buying a molded fiberglass travel trailer, probably a bigfoot, maybe another brand depending on availabilty in my area, a question came to mind. Since these units are totally enclosed in fiberglass, how does one fix utility problems that may occur under the floor. In a stick built trailer, your water lines, wiring and drain lines are easily accessed by cutting through the crappy tyvek type materieal they staple underneath. Can any of you who own one of these molded fiberglass trailers tell me how you access these things if need be. I am hoping to not hear, cut out the floor. Thanks for any input.

Generally all of these water lines and power wires can be accessed through closets, benchseats, etc. On our UHaul, you can remove the benchseat cover and have access to almost everything. The closet also unscrews, as does the sink cabinet in the bathroom. There is nothing that I haven't been able to reach, but sometimes it takes a bit of flexibility! Everything is above the floor and internal except for the drain outlets.

OK, that's for the UHaul. Hopefully others will chime in about Bigfoots and other trailers.

Here is a link to our trailer, an Escape 13, while it was being built. As Kevin said, a lot of the plumbing, wiring etc. can be accessed from the cabinets.

There isn't much of anyplace to "hide" things in these trailers, since most are single-wall construction- and even those with "double shells" have had all the plumbing/wiring added after molding, so nothing's hidden in the build process.

As already noted, most plumbing/wiring is easily accessible from inside the trailer's cabinets etc.

Everything is accessible from inside or access doors, no cutting from outside is needed.

Thanks for your replies and answers. Hopefully bigfoots are the same as I am looking for a winter package. Do any of you know of any other fiberglass manufactures that sell a well insulated trailer with double pain windows that I should be looking at?
