Hi, I bought a 17' boler and I am thrilled. I need some help thought sorting through the systems and I need a few issues tweaked before I set off camping.

Does anyone know an RV spot in Vancouver that is friendly to the boler type trailers? Is there anyone who privately likes to work on the bolers for cash?

I need help!

Hey, this is a really good question. I am living in the city in a townhouse and store the trailer off site. I really have no place to work on it. If it was in "the back yard" I could tinker. I have the know how. For now it would be nice to find a person passionate about fiberglass RV's and their maintenance and repair who do this as a living or a side job.

Dawn, I have used Mobile Hitch http://www.mobilehitch.ca/ for a few things and he's good and reasonable.

Hey Paul,

Thanks, that is helpful. I will give them a call. I look forward to tinkering and beyond this winter, but for now I need to get this trailer roadworthy and myself educated on the ins and outs well enough to take on the road.

I have a friend who put little notices up around his neighbourhood and found a person willing to rent out his garage for $50 a month. Maybe you could get lucky too and get your trailer closer to home?

Thanks again for your help!

$50 bucks! man that's a deal. OK, I need to do the same thing. I'm paying $110 outside storage.

i have had work done at escape in chilliwack that was well done. it is a drive to chilliwack though, but worth it. I've purchased a few things at travco RV in Burnaby (just east of metro town) 604-430-1551 but i have never had work done there. They have a full garage and i have seen a few bolers there for work when i went so they do work on them. I was thinking of seeing how much my latest project that has become a headache for me would cost to get done there.

Hi, a few folks have recommended Ravco now, they must be a good outfit. Thanks for letting me know! I will check them out.
