? VIN location 72 Boler American

Can anyone tell me where the VIN will be on a '72 Boler - American?

What format does it take. E.g # of digits, alpha numeric sequence?

For example I'm looking at the registration paper and ther are 2 possibilities for the VIN numbers (numbers fudged for obvious reasons)

TC12345

or

CEC CND144 12345678

Would either of these be right?

Usually Vins are on the tongue, curb side
Usually they are painted over on the older trailers
I also have a sheet on the inside of the closet door of my trailer.
BUT I don't have a boler.

vin numbers are generally 17 digits, so I'm thinking the second one you list would be correct

On the one I had, there was a metal tag on the toungue. It was on the outer side of the curbside frame-rail. It listed something akin to a serial number. There was nothing that seriously resembled a modern VIN number on the trailer itself.
