Where on a 1985 casita would I locate these numbers?

I found mine (finally, by chance) on TOP of the frame rails on the trailer tongue this weekend, between the propane tank and the coupler. It was just stamped in on top. Not sure if/when they started using 17 digit VINs on the Casitas, but my 81 only uses 7 total characters.
