Rick, a number of members can give you a idea based on pictures. Can you post pictures, one of each side?

Very different windows from my 1980. Mine has 2 large sliders on the curb side and 2 fixed in the rear.

Interesting. Do you think someone glassed over some windows? Bigfoots are known for having lots of windows. Your model has only one small window on each side. No decals either. Has it been painted? It's unusual to see a two-tone Bigfoot. Do you have any pics of the interior?

Hello

VIN's are pretty simple to decode, and your local DMV should be able to help. In the meantime, I hope this is useful.

Decoding the VIN following information at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicle...ication_number , the VIN gets broken up into segments like this:

2B0 TJFE1 8 R V 006273

2B0 indicates the vehicle was built in Canada.

TJFE1 are manufacturer specific.

8 is a check digit

R shows this is a 1994 mnodel year.

V is the plant code. I'm guessing there is only on plant for this trailer.

006273 is the sequential serial number.

I hope this helps in some way.

94' ? Seems older but the taillights do seem pretty modern

I'm pretty sure Bigfoot started using that style of tail light in 1992. Prior years had the Miro-Flex tail lights.

That being said, nothing else in these pictures adds up to any year Bigfoot I recognize. The front window looks original but none of the side windows nor rear window do. They are not the original size, location, or style.

The hatch door in the back isn't original. There are no storage compartment doors on the sides, and no water heater door, or fridge vents. The furnace vent is in the right front quadrant and down low, not the original location.

If this is a 1994, I suspect it has had major fiberglass work done to it. Pix of the interior might yield some more clues.

Are we positive it's a bigfoot?

The interior had been gutted an refinished, newer cupboards and countertop, Coleman A/C unit, mini fridge, and a futon for a bed, no table, porta potti Click image for larger version
