I store my trailer about 15 klicks away and can't simply run out the door to measure, and I'm sure you probably already know without looking: How high is the top of the door from the ground on the Trilliums 1970's version?. This is for the purpose of purchasing a screen room.

I am already browsing "Awning Ideas" thread. I haven't run across a Trillium owner with a screen tent that works - yet.

Thanks in advance

Hi Paul,

I get 77.5" / 197cm from the ground to the top of the door. Trailer might be leaning a bit towards the door side. It has same spec tires as the original.

We ordered a bag awning from interwestsports.com and hopefully will be getting it this week as we are off to our favorite campground for a week. They have a screen room that can be added to it. Honestly though, if it's buggy enough to warrant a bug room I wouldn't be camping there because the kids would complain too much.

We camped in Emory Creek provincial park just outside Hope on our way to Drumheller and it was bug free and beautiful. I can also recommend Kennedy Lake provincial park on the Merritt to Princeton highway right after the Coquihalla connector.

Cheers,
Booker

Booker, Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. Thanks for that quick reply. We almost has a screen tent high enough but Walmart is completely sold out.

The horrid Walmart experience is worthy of a post all on its own but not worth my time to re-live it. Take my word for it. It was bad.

We leave for our first destination Saturday morning for Monck Park on Nichola Lake. Thanks for the other suggestions, they sound like great weekender's. I really like the provincials here in BC.
