Vinyl Stripping where the 2 Clamshells Meet

As we were driving our 1986 Bigfoot 17.5 down the road on the first day of our summer adventures, we saw something flapping around in the breeze on our trailer and pulled over as soon as we could (which was still 10 miles or so before we found an exit). The brown vinyl stripping between the two clamshells had come loose, and by the time we stopped the whole front of the trailer was bare and it was hanging on by a thread on the side. In order not to lose it, I took off the remaining vinyl and put it in the Toad.

Do you know where you can buy replacement vinyl stripping for a 17.5 Bigfoot (1986)? Should I just try to glue the old striiping back on? (It seems to have shrunk in width). The rivets in the front of the trailer are looking kind of rusty and ugly now that we can finally see them. Do people replace those as well?

<_<

I'm thinking it's like the stuff on the old trilliums.
That stripping is used on lots of different trailers in lots of colors It can be bought in rolls at RV dealers I found it at Camping World. You will need more than one roll if you want to go all the way around the trailer, but probably less than two. I did not see brown but they had red, black, and white in stock. Maybe brown could be ordered?

Also look here... Is this it?...
