Donna, you may be right, but to some, me included we get satisfaction out of restoring and maintaining something in it's orginal condition. It is like restoring an old car. I guess it is what every floats your boat.

I am replacing the old style in my 93 Casita, I guess I will take care removing it. Old Bigfoot's used the same light like 1985.

You're exactly right. Being uniquely your own can be anything from original-from-the-factory look to totally wild. The comment is more for the misguided who think "original" means "added $$ value." In the all molded world, it most generally does not.

Sounds like you're getting the light you need/want
