Wanted Interior light cover for a 84 Scamp 13.

Today I broke the cover on the interior square light of my 84 13' scamp. I am hoping that a member can guide me to a replacement source. I have contacted Scamp, but they could not help me. I am hoping that someone who has changed out this style of light may have hung on to the old one and would be willing to sale at this time. I would appreciate any help. Thanks Joe

Wish I'd saved them for ya, but I tossed the originals when I replaced with LEDs. You should consider doing the same. The LEDs will save you a lot of amp usage and really help update the interior. Enjoy your Scamp!

Could you post a photo of the base? Is it the square one? I may have one for you if it is.

If we had a picture of the light base I may have one in my used parts.

Anytime I broke one of the square light covers, I was able to purchase a replacement cover for a couple of bucks at most RV stores.
Good Luck

The problem you're going to find is that these things are made out of magic fairy dust, and if you look at or touch them wrong, they simply vanish into thin air.

I broke half of mine removing them. Old ones aren't worth the hassle. I replaced the lights with (non led housings) for $5 with a bulb.

Thanks everyone, I will try to get a picture posted this evening. I am not the sharpest tack in the box when it comes to computers etc. The lens or cover is 5" by 5" with 1/8" tabs on top and bottom.

New lens, new bulb, new switch, new housing, all for $5. Best of all, if your old ones are like mine, they aren't piss yellow with a fake wood rain stripe.

David that use to be the case but slowly the old square type replacement covers are quickly vanishing off the shelves as well as on line shops.

Hi Folks. the bottom one is the same light I have. I have been all evening trying to post a picture. Thanks for posting. I realize I could buy new lights but I want to keep my trailer in original condition. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Joe

That bottom one looks just like mine out of my 80 Acorn. I found mine locally. Mine was about 5" and a tad square and it's called a PD305 lens replacement. You can get them at www.rvplus.com. Just search for the PD305. Come in packages of 2 since I guess some of the fixtures were double.
Mine cost just under $3 for package of two. Hope this helps. BTW, measure for sure and I'd buy a couple of packages like we did.

light lens

I just checked out the link and they do not list the PD 305. They have a PD304 and 306 listed
