Water filtration?

Hi all,

Currently in Blythe, Ca. and the water here is not so great.
We did buy a Brita pitcher with a filter. These are filled and gravity feed to filter the water.
Tastes terrible.

I have seen external filters on the big rigs at the various camp sites we have stopped at.

Currently buying bottled water.

What are other folks using?

I talked to one set of Newbies this morning and they indicated they add "Crystal lite" to the water to make it taste better.
Me thinks this options will not work well for tea or coffee

I saw Culligan filters that are added in-line on potable water intake hose.
Are these worthwhile?

Water filtration?

I have one of the ones you put on you hose at the trailer. I can't remember what brand it is. I bought it at Walmart. It helps, I don't think any thing is going to make it taste like the water you are use to at home but it does make it tolerable.
Hope this helps.
Jason

Try asking the local peeps what they use to filter water at home, I've been there and I am sure that they are used to that question. When I go to nearby Quartzite, AZ I never drink the local water, I take/buy 1 gallon bottled water as needed.
