Judy if you open up all the hatches up and put a small electric heater in the trailer the rat fur will dry out pretty fast. If you think that some water may still be trapped between the wall and rat fur you can pull the rat fur away from the wall inside the hatches and pull the carpet up from the hatch floors to let it dry out and then use a 3m spray adhesive to reattach the fur to the wall once its all dried out.

Thanks Carol. I actually pulled the carpet out of the hatches as soon as I realized it was wet. I threw the carpet out. Good idea about pulling the wall covering away from the wall in the compartments to let it dry out. It's pouring here today so I will have the opportunity to see if my (hack) caulking is doing any good. I wish I had thought of the tarp and tape yesterday while it was dry out. I figure once the weather warms up, which it will, the trailer will dry out.

Thanks!
