I like to have stuff pre-stocked in the trailer, it makes it easier to pack up and go. I added a storage tube to carry a helical pre-coiled garden hose for flushing the waste tanks but didn't have a good place to carry the fresh water hose, we simply put in the shower. It was a reasonable place to store it, but made it inconvenient to use the facilities while traveling.
I coiled the fresh water hose into a 14 inch or so wide stack, with each layer of hose a little smaller then the previous wrap; when finished it looked like a coiled snake. I used a tie wrap to hold the hose in the coiled condition.
I put the hose in a small nylon duffle bag to keep it clean and then used a bungy cord to attach it to the hub of the spare tire. The spare tire cover fits nicely over the hose and tire. The bungy cord and spare tire cover will ensure the hose does not
fall off the trailer while traveling.
The nylon duffle bag is not water tight so the hose can drip and dry out while we travel.
