Another one of my little repair questions...

When repairing a hose connection am I best to go to the RV parts store and get the same type of closed metal crimp ring that was on there originally - or - is it okay to get the type of clamps that have a screw
Is a special type of crimping tool for the closed metal crimp rings?

It is the connection between the lower plastic valve at my water heater and the grey plastic water line to the heater that I need to repair.

Thanks for any input
