Hello, we just purchased a 2004 Trillium Outback. The previous owner added antifreeze to the water supply. Any suggestions on cleaning this out of the system to make the water safe for consumption?
As long as RV antifreeze was used it is non-toxic, but I know what you mean, no matter what was used you don't want to drink it.
Drain the entire system, tank, hot water if equipped, you could also use a blow-out plug to aid in getting as much out as possible. Then flush the system, fill and drain the fresh tank, pump water through the lines.
