Weird is right. I've seen these pics before. Those beds remind me of the hospital beds they put you in when you're having some sort of "procedure" done! I've always liked the idea though of something that would be really compact going down the road and then open up to give you more space when you got to your destination.

I too have seen these pictures before....think it is a European Unit....as to A/C I believe the two vent panels in the lower rear are A/C vents....with all that "glass" area A/C would be a must...looks like a very interesting design....structural strength could be achieved using a welded metal frame to provide rigidity.
Bet it isn't an Ultra-Lite!

I think he is missing a bet. He could stick rigid sheet insulation to the inside!


On the accordion camper, I wonder how the bending areas of the plastic will hold up.
