What glue to use on AC cover?

My Ac cover cracked and a plastic piece broke off during the winter.
What type of glue will work on the AC cover.(Made of plastic)

Here's what you need .
This is not crazyglue, but it binds plastic like crazy. You will need to use a plastic "bridge" inside the joint. I used a flat strip of vinyl cut from a piece of "J" channel for my backer.
The repair is far stronger than the original material alone, and absolutely invisible from the good side. My repair was on the inside control panel cover on my A/C. (same sort of plastic)
It takes 15minutes to hold and 24hrs to cure to full strength.

Goop: They label goop for everything and I think it all the same formula. It sticks and fixes almost anything.

My local body shop had some tool where he could "weld" plastic. He has used it on snowmobile hoods that were some type of plastic, not fiberglass. I repaired a trailer lid that was similar to the old Sears roof top carrier material using fiberglass cloth and resin. Did the same with the swamp cooler cover from our Uhaul. The cloth gives it some extra strength and overlaps the pieces.

If you were closer I could more than likely weld that for you depending on the plastic. Alot of plastic is weldable with the right rods, although it will look "repaired". I have had some luck with melting alike plastic in MEK to make a slurry and using that to glue the plastic pieces back.
