What is this?????

This pulled in and set up camp at this year's Manitoba's Fiberglass and Vintage Camper rally going on right now this weekend.

No one seems to know what it is, not even the owner, who bought it a few months ago from a person who thought it was a Boler. Some are possibly thinking European that may have been brought over by a military person at some time.

It's registered as a 1968 travel trailer.

It a about a foot longer than a Boler and about 6'5 tall in the middle. The frame is much more heavy duty as well. It has a water tank, an ice box, propane stove and 12 volt lights only.

It's a double shelled camper, with the exterior body and then in the interior body is another shell with a bit of insoluation in between the two. Similar to the late 70's 19 foot Biggars.

The exterior has no seems, even though in the pictures, it appears that there is a top and a bottom half. It's all a one piece body.

I don't have any interior pics, but it's setup very similar to the Boler. Bed/table in the back and couch/bunk beds in the front and counter with a stove and icebox in between. The interior looks like it would be from the 60's.

Any guesses?

I have no idea but the roof looks like a Trillium and the bottom like a Scamp. Did it have an exposed wood floor? One piece body? With the bumps around the windows and center, removal from a mold would be a challenge. Raz

Humm, it kinda looks like a 15' Love Bug. The Love Bug has raised areas around all the windows and that molded area around the wheel wells. The only 15' Love Bug images I can find have all had the windows replaced.

Can you post a pic or two of the 15 foot Love Bug. I tried looking online but can only find the 13 footers that look like the boler but with different tail lights and that raised trim around the wheel wells.

This one in the pics is tall, at least 6'5 down the middle.

Squared-off corners don't look like the LoveBug to me. I'm inclined to agree with those who suggest it's an import. Maybe it's Dutch*… 6'5" inside?! Statistically speaking, 99% of adult Americans could stand in this one**… but, I wonder... could they sleep? If so, someone ought to make make some molds and start production…

Could it be an Aer-Flo?
Here's an old ad with pics:

Here's a better look at the roof of an Aer-Flo:

Don't think it's a love bug either. Those pics from that post seem to a lot more modern.

I took another look at it. It has a fiberglass floor.

I downside I found is in the inside, the interior shell is squared off in the back and the front, thus making the bed just a tad bigger than 6 feet, which is weird since it's 6'5 in height. With the squared corners, the bed looses about 6 inches in length. I'm 6'3 and can sleep in my Boler without my head or feet touching the walls.

He's asking $3250 or trade for a Boler.

I has to be an Aer-Flo, I'm positive now.

Frankly I'm surprised that Donna didn't come up with it first. (I think she's sandbagging, to give the rest of us a fighting chance.)

So that begs the follow-on question… what is an Aer-Flo? Where and when made,…? BTW - good detective work, Mike!
