I think you're right, Hazel. I am not getting any responses of what it originally looked like. It is not high on my priority list right now - so maybe one day I will be surprised with a picture. Until then, I will mull over a wedge fix.

Thanks

I don't have a counter extension in any of my 1300's, and the 4500's use a fold out thing, kinda like Francesca shows, but made out of wire. Sorry.

I'm pretty sure mine has the same setup. The wire hanger is a rectangular piece.

Is yours Square or Rectangular? Have you tried rotating the wire hanger?

I'll grab a picture tomorrow for you.

Thanks, Dennis. Would love to see a pic of yours. I believe the wire on mine is square. In the photo the bottom of the wire is resting in the holder on the side - it looks as though it's missing another wire thingy that would attach to the bottom of what I have and then rest in the holder?

I just got a Trilly with the shelf. Here are some pics, let me know if you need measurements. Underneath my shelf has some holes at the top almost like the plastic bracket was moved,to make it level?
Sorry having trouble adding more than 1 picture at a time with my ipad for some reason.

Problem solved!

Clearly, (see below) the front lip of the O.P's bracket is too far forward. Looks like the same thing used to be true of yours, too, and a previous owner fixed it.

OK - that makes good sense - looks like a practical fix to just move it back a bit on the shelf underside. Thanks so much for the pics!

Just one more thing- Is that wire thingy dingy an unbroken rectangle? If so, rotating it so that the longest arm is the hypoteneuse of the triangle would make a difference.

I suggest this because yours looks somehow "wider" to me than the one Kootenai Girl posted so I wondered if some P.O. might have installed it wrong.

All such notions are off, of course, if instead of being a solid rectangle the wire has a couple of little legs that just poke into the ends of the bracket on the table.

You beat me to it Francesca, I too noticed it was rectangular.

I'll explain it differently though. Take the wire off, turn it so the short sides fit the brackets and the long sides go between the cabinet and the shelf.

Yes, you guys are right. Solid Rectangle, long vertical leg around 15", short horizontal 10"
