Wheels

Can anyone tell me if this is a factory wheel for a Hunter Compact 2 or 1 ? I can't find any other camper with these wheels. Here's a before and after picture, the colours look original

I think that is called a "Dexter Star" wheel.
Fairly common at least 45-50 years ago.

"Vintage Trailer Supply" has them...
4-Bolt Wheels

Yes, I have order one, it should be in tomorrow for my spare.
I guess these are originals, just didn't see them on the other campers.
I can see that I need to change the silver on the wheels .
Thanks for the info,

My '73 Compact Jr did not have that style wheels and I've not seen those on any other Hunter trailer. Perhaps the original axle has been changed. Looks nice though.

They look really nice painted like that.

I'm wondering if you should get two new wheels and use the best one of the original two for the spare. They are pretty old and were rusty. Possibly weak?

It's also an opportunity to change sizes if you want, possibly, a better selection of tires.

Compact JR. Wheel

That is the original wheel. Mine had two of those and I actually have them with old tires on them. I put new hubs on the axle so that I could run normal wheels in case I needed one while traveling. If you want mine you can have them, they are in Florida.
