Google "Torsion trailer axle".

Major manufacturers are Dexter, Reliable and Flexiride. Their websites list local dealers or you can order one online. Most axles are custom made so you supply the dimensions and they make it to your specification.

Hi vanfrog,

We have a '72 Boler too, we just ordered our Torsion Axle from Paul Neimeister in Ontario & had it shipped here to BC. Paul was fantastic & the axle fits perfectly, if you google his name, his FG trailer website will pop up. He was prompt & a pleasure to deal with so that would be our recommendation!

vanrog,

that Paul Neumeister gentleman (519)393-6410 someone else mentioned sells them for $425 plus shipping, think its about $60 dollars via greyhound.

$425 is with taxes in also.

these are the dexter axles with 7" electric brakes, they are built to exact boler specs. from what he says. hes a real nice dood, i've called him quite a few times.

decent price too, especially with brakes, they really are a must.

hope that helps,

Joel

The reason i purchased the boler is their ability to be towed in
difficult areas and nothing to get hung up on to.
I,m on a treasure hunt with limited funds and want my portable bed on site with me.

ok......

not sure if you'll find a good used axle anywhere if that is what your saying. but I could be wrong.

you asked where to get an axle, that is where to get one. if you are asking for used stuff, no idea.

I spoke to Paul this morning and I can get a new axle
for 350.00 + shipping.
It seems quit resonable to me.

Hi Vaneog,

Sorry for the late reply, I meant to say google Paul Neimeister, sorry for the confusion, looks like some others clarified for me though! Good luck with your new Boler!

Cheers,
Lindsey
