Which 17' to buy

Hi Guys,

Ok well I think we have whittled it down to buying a 17' Casita. But which should we buy? Likely don't want the Freedom with Captains chairs as it takes important space.

But can't seem to figure what the advantage or real difference is to the
Spirit, Liberty and the Independence.

we are leaning buying new & picking up in the spring.

Any ideas, comments, suggestions appreciated.

The Spirit has a second dinette. It's popular with couples who leave the rear dinette permanently set up as a bed, sometimes even swapping out the stock cushions for a custom residential-style mattress. The second dinette can sleep one small person.

The Liberty allows several different arrangements at the back: narrow twins, a cross-ways 54" bed with a dinette in front, or a single large bed. It is preferred by people who want a really big bed in which you can sleep longways (no crawl-over to use the bathroom in the middle of the night). It also has a slightly roomier galley, but it gives up the extra dinette, so you have to eat outside or convert the bed back into dinette mode.

The Independence looks like the Liberty on the website, but it has 30" wide twins at the back instead of 26" wide dinette seats. It can still make a single large bed if desired.

I have the SD but if I was to change, I would go with the twin 30" bed layout.

Cool Washington?

You live in Washington State? Why wouldn't you go for Escape which is right next door in British Columbia. Or perhaps Nest which is just in Oregon, or Outback located in Calgary.

Texas is 2000 miles away, that is 4000 miles round trip, or $3000 delivery.
If the Washington is D.C. ignore this post.

I gotta think, with the Canadian dollar, (peso) so low, the cost for an Escape is going to be very competitive.
