White Rubber Weatherstrip for Fridge Service VentDoor

Hi All,

Might somebody help me find this? I called Scamp and Devon said they've moved toplastic service vent doors for the fridge. They don't carry the weatherstrip. The pics you see are of my service door with the piano hinge exposed. The white rubbery weatherstrip has a lip on it that slides in between door and too of hinge. I was driving with trailer today and saw it flapping in the breeze. Tore off. That is the other pic as I pulled it out.

Dometic doesn't seem to list it on parts page. Any suggested vendors or links would be so appreciated.

Wendy

I think that is a standard trim item, available by the foot, black or white, and a few different widths. I just can't think of what it is called. A RV place should have it. I'm sure someone here will have better info. I need a piece for one of our campers.

Thanks Bob. I hope so. Tore right off today. My local rv store was closed when I got home. Didn't take pic of the back but it's a little J channel like vinyl siding. Maybe homey d will have?

Cheers

If it's what I think it is, you'll have to get it at a RV place

I wish it were the vinyl insert trim. Lots of that to be had. Reminds me of black windshield or window trim on a car

Take a piece of it to your RV store, they can match it up for you.

That's what I thought too Dave. Apparently my local RV store suks as the guy told me nope, we don't sell any seals or trims. Have to call another place in Lockport. If I knew the name of it exactly I might find online but so far my searches turn up dry. Thanks for caring

It's a standard trim piece. I just replaced it around the door on my Casita.
My local RV store sells it in 8 foot lengths.

I believe the trick is NOT to tell them you need the white peice for around the refrigerator vent for a 1999 13' Scamp.

Just describe it simply as the half inch white plastic trim that snaps in.

sorry I couldn't get a better picture of it

Here's what your looking for but I don't think you want 80 feet!!
