One of the most effective ways to find such seemingly elusive items is to use good keywords and then set up the search to look for images. Then when you see an image that looks like a close match click on it to go to that website. Image searching can save a lot of time! It can also turn up measured drawings which help verify that you have found something that actually fits.

Absolutely agree - perfect for finding old parts, have found a couple ebay sources for those items no longer manufactured using image searching.
