Window Rivets

My side window on my 2004 Casita 17 SD is leaking. I am going to take the window off to replace the gasket.
There are 4 rivets in the outside window frame. Do these rivets hold the window in place in addition to the inside screws?
I assume these rivets need to come out, correct?
Any input is appreciated. Jerry

If it is just a clamp ring window ( screws on the inside ) then I dont think the rivits have to come out , but I suspect that is where the leaking is coming from, so really they probably will have to come out anyway

I replaced the window. The four rivets do indeed go through the wall of the Casita and hence must be drilled out and then replaced. Don't know why Casita does that?
