Unhappy

I am going to be selling my 1979 13ft burro soon and was wondering what range it should start at? It has 3 new goodyear tires, freshly packed bearings and the fridge, heater and stove work, but I do not have the steel grate for over the burners, but I can make one. It has a new LP tank. There are no holes or leaks and I am replacing the ceiling insulation and carpet. The curtains are nice and it is in overall good shape and ready to travel! The seat covers are old and need replacing, but I figure the new owner could buy the scamp covers for it.

Please give me an idea of what price I should start with.

Thank you! Peace, david

That's a hard question to answer, because a lot depends on where you are on the continent, the condition of the trailer, what time of year you sell it, and how you market it (i.e. do you provide a lot of photos and information or not).

I would suggest checking out the "sold" archives here; they don't tell you the selling price, but you can see what people were asking, and how fast they sold. Also, you could look up completed auctions on eBay.

Thank you for the advice Raya. I am in the midwest, Nebraska, and will provide a lot of photos and information. I still have to reinforce the stabilizer jacks by welding new bases on them this week and then a quick end of season cleaning and waxing. I will check the sold listings as you recommended. Thank you!

peace, David
