yikes - discovered big hole to the outdoors

I recently had the silverware drawer out to install a shelf bracket to the right of the stove. The refrigerator has spun fiberglass insulation packed around the sides but with the vibration of travel (our scamp has only about 5000 miles on it thus far) the fiberglass has settled and I was astonished to see bright daylight streaming into the interior. Although a thin fiberglass panel was glued to seal the top edge of the refrigerator from the exterior, there was nothing on the right (as you face the fridge) side. Although it opens into the exterior vent compartment and no critter can get through the vent panels (though I have a few times left the panel off after igniting the fridge propane) it is an inviting entry for insects.

I'll figure out a way to install something to solve it (though access will be tricky) but curious if anyone else encountered this problem? I'm not sure if is an error in the manufacturing or just the way Scamp does it. This is a 2014 13' with front couch/bunk.

Here are a few. Two from inside looking through the silverware drawer opening; one looking in from the exterior refrigerator vent opening. You can see only the top part of the total gap - it is a couple inches wide by the full height of the fridge. The wood block in the photo is the backing for brackets I added on the cabinet exterior - not an original scamp piece.

Not sure why the first and last were rotated 90 degrees. The originals are correct. I've had this happen before.

If it is the small fridge, as is ours, which I replaced last summer.
It is supposed to have the back of the fridge completely sealed off from the interior of the Scamp. Ours, (a 2000 16 ft DLX) has sheet aluminum screwed to the top and right side of the fridge, and to the framing above and beside.
And all sealed with metal duct tape.
For access, I had to remove the stove and also work through the cupboard below.

Thanks Wayne. Yes, we have the small fridge. Sounds right that it should be sealed all around. Ours is sealed on left and top, but not on the right. I think I'll call Scamp and get their advice although I guess it's just a matter of cutting a piece of sheet aluminum, wiggling it in place and trying to get it fastened and sealed. Not trivial I suspect given the difficult access.
