13' Scamp-Fiberglass filler

In trying to install our license plate and license plate frame I couldn't fit my fat fingers behind the holder to secure the nut when tightening..finally I decided to remove the plate holder/tailight assembly which I discovered is only attached by four very small cheesy little self tapping screws directly into the fiberglass...no big deal here but...anyway, upon reinstallation I note one of the screws is stripped from its hole...the assembly is secure but for the sake of perfection, does anyone recommend some filler to apply so I can re thread the screw securely or would you recommend a slightly larger screw?
thanks.. I'm a rookie here btw
ps...not too impressed with any fasteners firectly into the glass...

I'd fill a little hole like that with two part epoxy, let it cure , then re-drill it.

Example:

Amazon.com: Loctite 1366072 0.47-Ounce Plastic Syringe Epoxy 1 Minute Instant Mix Adhesive: Home Improvement

The better way to do it is to enlarge the holes, install a plastic insert into the fiberglass, then put the screw into the insert. You can buy these at a auto store in the trim area.

Example:
