1970 Campster Renovation

Hello all.
I bought my Campster just about 2 years ago and I am finally getting around to renovating it. And sure to have a lot of questionsJ. I love this site it has alredy been a big help. I will post some picture as soon as I can get my camera to work right. I have gutted it, taken every thing out, and have started to put it back together. Laid new laminate tiles and know figuring out how i want to electric to be.

My question today is there any thing special needed done to paint the inside? Prepping or special paint? Will be taking it to a paint shop for the out side. I have never painted fiberglass before.

Well, since the interior of my Scamp has wood and rat fur, I'm no help... but, I wanted to welcome you back to the world of renovation! I know you're not the first person to delay a rebuild and I'm looking forward to your pictures. Just don't do too much until you get some 'beginning' pics, we like to follow along

I think you will want some kind of material on the inside as the shell is Fairly thin.

I did a Compact Jr last year. For interior I bought paint at Home Depot white color with primmer in it. Painted the whole inside. the outside I painted with Marine Topside Paint. It goes on with a roller and use a tipping brush and thinner to smooth the roller marks. It looked like it was sprayed. Total cost of paint $60.00 put on 6 coats sanded between coats. Not hard to do.

Cool that sounds like something i can/ will do. What is a tipping brush? you brush on the thinner with it? Also do you have any pictures of it?
Thanks
