Yes it is two pieces, I could not find the 90 deg stuff locally. They fit well, you would think it was 1 piece. I used my chop saw with carbide tip blade to cut the 45's.

Yeh I was out most of the day looking as well. It's not until I zoomed with the iPhone app that I saw how you did it. Looks great. Most likely I'll be borrowing the idea. Thx.

Very nice resto. I appreciate seeing the clever hardware solutions. Good job.

LOVE your closet! Well, I love e'thing but I really like your closet. I looked all over IKEA using terms like "Cabinet Storage", "Storage Bins", "Plastic Drawers", "Plastic Bins", "storage track system" etc and cant find these anywhere. Can you tell me what they are officially called?

Thanks so much!

Melissa

The cabinet storage with drawers is from Ikea to, I did modify it to fit.

The storage unit is called "Trofast" found in the kids section (page 227 of the 2012 catalogue) but the one we found was just a single bin tall. The bins come in different sizes, pink, green & white. I did end up drilling new holes to space them a little closer as well cut it down a bit.

Awesome, thanks! So you got the frame and installed it? I couldnt tell from the pix there was a frame there so I thought you screwed the tracks into the closet sides.

The frame I purchased as well, it comes with all the tracks. I think they give you lots is case you decide to use more of the smaller containers, so I did have a few left over.

I found a solution to couple more items we seem to have had a hard time storing. We had always fought the dish rack under the sink so we found a collapsible one that folds flat.

Also, the smaller broom with dust pan and some where to hang it...

Thank you

What wonderful work! Everything looks perfect. Cannot believe the creativity and thought that went into each upgrade.

Here's one on Amazon: Amazon.com: Progressive International Collapsible Dish Rack: Home & Garden

Brad,
What did you use for flooring? I love the color(s).

Thanks, and great job!

We purchased the dish rack at a smaller Kitchen store, I have never seen one before so we snagged it. I imagine the "big box" stores may carry it? (possibly cheaper to!)

Cheers, Brad

We purchased the flooring from Home Depot in the clearance section, it is just a 8mm laminate. Two boxes was more than enough with some spare in case a repair needs to be made.
