1973 Trillium 1300

I have purchased a 1973 Trillium 1300. As you can see from the pictures that it needs a lot of TLC. I am going to start this project by stripping this thing down to the FG and then letting an expert restore it for me. I will continue to post pictures throughout the process.

...Congat....I love Trillium. It has a lot of room, light weight, beautiful design, easy to work with and the important thing with me is....there are all kinds of options you could build up with...Trillium. The only thing to pay attention, IMO, is it's shell structure strength and fiberglass roof if you want to add A/C on roof....

Thanks for the words of encouragement. Does anyone know the best location to install an a/c unit into the camper? I've been told by a rv mechanic that the roof is sturdy enough to support one? I wasn't comfortable so I held off. Thanks in advance.

Back window is where I went with mine.
I also thought about grafting one into the closet bottom but took the easier way out.
I would not put one on the roof for sure,my 73 1300 roof sagged badly with just the factory tiny vent on it.
I replaced the vent with a Fantastic Fan and propped the roof up under it from shelves that I built all the way around the perimeter of the trailer. It was not a lot stronger then but looked a lot more even up there.

I loved my 1300 and had a lot of fun in it.
