The countertop is comprised of four components, each of which can be removed separately, as necessary. The surface is a laminate from WilsonArt, and the cooktop/sink is from SMEV (now Dometic).

The refrigerator is an Engle, 120VAC/12VDC. No messing around with propane, or the need for those ugly outside ventilation/access grills. PEX tubing provides water (hot and cold) to the cooktop/sink; and the gray water exits via a drain in the front between the frame rails. The flooring is Marmoleum. And as is typical for my restorations, I use a combination of Birch Euro-Ply thicknesses, but mostly 3/8" for my cabinets, etc., and 3/4" for countertops and where needed for stiffening.

Here's a look at the bed area... I covered my "bench" cabinets, bed platform components, and under-bed area with gray indoor/outdoor carpeting. This should provide a little extra insulation, and prevent stuff from sliding around too much.

(We don't have our mattress or window coverings yet.)

I should mention that the curtain track is from IKEA. All the lighting is LED. (I do have 120VAC connections when hook-ups are available.) Obviously, I prefer not to have drawer or cabinet pulls, and instead use a finger-pull, with a hidden "rooster" latch inside to prevent any unwanted openings and spills.

And here are some details you may find interesting:

1 Our camping experiences have usually been within the warmer months, so I decided to forego the installation of a space heater. However! Just in case, I've added a "quick connect" propane line to use with a free-standing "Mr. Heater"-style catalytic heater if we know we'll hit cold weather.

2 A propane gas leak monitor, and a water temp control switch (for the Girard on-board tankless water heater) are accessible but out of the way.

3 A battery monitor and 12VDC CLA power adapter are integrated into an access panel near the door. The panel can be removed to address the wires to and from the converter/battery charger. (Inside the CLA is a USB adapter for charging cellphones or tablets.)

And finally, here are a few more images to help define the project.

As soon as we get some sunshine here, I'll take a few shots of the finished exterior and post them here for your review.

Nice built johans, really nice. Many thanks for a detailed sequence ... I'll book mark this tread for sure. My design premises are different, but I am aiming for the same level of finishes. Gracias. Luis

Robert,
I had one one of those Girard tankless heaters in my 2012 Lance, they had a lot of problems with them over on the Lance forums, too hot and they ran every time you run the water. Finally, Girard came out with a revised heater with 2 settings, warm and hot. You may want to check on any revisions to your model. With the tankless you only use the hot water side and turn on cold to reduce the temperature. Now with the fix it is a better mix.
