Moving forward in the new world we are all living in...
Decided to tackle the galley cabinet as my first. I imagine like many things, there is more than one way to do this but here is how I made my patterns for the curved parts of the cabinets
- establish references: front edges, sides etc
- use small pieces of mat board stuck to the reference piece (used double-sided tape) to create a pattern
- use the pattern to cut the shape of each piece of the cabinet
- test fit the cabinet and make any adjustments using a scribe, file, sandpaper (I cut the edges on an angle so there was less material to remove when making adjustments)

Pretty happy with the test fit! Novakool 12V/120V fridge and undermount sink in place (1/2" plywood as temporary countertop). Very happy with the fit of the right side of the cabinet...left side around the wheel well took a little more finessing
Next steps will be to finish any filling/faring of the plywood on the hull behind the cabinet then prime and paint the area behind/around the cabinet (tackling this in sections...too overwhelming and tedious to do the whole thing at once)

Few more details on the cabinet itself such as a couple of vertical supports, drilling holes for adjustable shelving, addition of drawer and cabinet doors and cut-outs to run electrical, water and a propane line for a 2 burner propane cooktop. This cabinet required a lot of thinking!!

And, while I had the help of 2 strong guys with a bit of time on their hands (laid off due to Covid), I thought this would be a very good time to widen the structure keeping my Boler dry. Waaaay too nerve wracking getting it in and out as narrow as it was. The trees that prevented it from being wider when first built were taken down if anyone is wondering why I didn't make it wider in the first place!! So much better now!

Next cabinet....the closet. My original method of using small pieces of mat board double-sided taped onto a reference piece seemed to work well so I carried on with that.

Installation of a bit of "bling" in anticipation of electrical at the end of the month. The "porch light" and license plate holder are both from Vintage Trailer Supply. I have a very custom license plate frame coming this week (found this person on Instagram...more details after I get it).

Now it's starting to feel like this will be a usable trailer!! After much research, I decided to purchase Redarc Electric battery Manager 30. It's basically a 3-in-1 charger with a monitor. Charges the batteries from the car when driving, solar panels or AC input when available. Also has a built in battery isolator so you don't run your car battery down. I will be buying Battle Born lithium iron phosphate batteries (or battery) so this will be a very low maintenance, easy to use system when everything is set up. I really didn't want to fuss with lead acid batteries and like that I can install the lithium batteries inside the trailer. I know....$$$$!!!! Only doing this once!!
