Hi,
I love the look! We have transformed our outside of our 1978 Trillium 4500 Deluxe to a Hawaiian/Tropical theme. But we want to work on the interior next to match. I have surf board stuff for starters, but the bamboo is "AWESOME". Where did you get the bamboo from? Is there a specfic glue stick insert that holds best onto doors? Thanks. Mahalo!!!!!

With a name like Goodall and a tropical theme, there should be some chimps somewhere. ???? Very nice job!

The bamboo is from a gardening store. I used the smaller size on the cupboards and slightly larger size on the closet door. I had to hand cut each piece and it helps to tape the part you are cutting as it likes to splinter but the look is great! My 11 yr old neice ehlped me with her glue gun to get it on. She never burnt herself and i did numerous times!!
My neighbor put hardwood floors in his house and gave me enough pieces to do my floor. The tongue and groove keeps it in place. I can take it out if i have to. It helps disperse the weight, after all it is a bit cracked and old on that floor.
Good luck with your reno and post the pics!

Well Tim I do in fact have a small simian who is constantly jumping around and hollering. He likes bannanas and unlike chimps loves swimming... He is almost 4 and called Aiden!
