Really nice trailer! What type of paint did Rene use? Did she use any special solvent/cleaner on the window cover prior to painting it?

First we painted the base coat with white rust paint and then painted the lettering on with black rust paint. The letters were already embossed into the window cover. So we just had to fill in between the lines.

Thanks. I'm still debating whether it would be best to try hand-lettering the front window screen, to have a vinyl decal made or to simply leave it plain. Hmmm....

We purchased a boler decal with a maple leaf on it from

Fibreglass RV Parts, Repairs, and Service by Paul Neumeister

for the back of our trailer. It has not been installed yet. Waiting till the pinstriping is done.

What are the dimensions of the decal, Rene? Are you putting it on yourselves?

Just had to measure it. Its 4" high lettering and including the maple leaf it is about 19" long. We will apply it ourselves. Usually these decals go on the back or sides but I think it could work well for the front of a 1300.

Would you post a photo once it's on the back of your trailer please? I agree with you it does sound as if it would work well on the front.
