Thanks for the good advice and ideas everyone.

After one year, we are nearly finished with our upgrade project. We spent a few hours a month on it and it is ready for travel and camping.

When we bought it, the floor boards were dry-rotted and the scamp needed lots of work.

Some upgrades were: new floorboard, new rear window, new tires, new chrome hub caps, new laminate flooring and trim, new cabinet doors, new tail lights, new curtains, fresh coat of paint, and TLC.

Here are some photos:

You have a right to be proud. Empowering isn't it doing the work yourself! Thanks for sharing with the rest of us

Looks good! Is the cooler just a cover for the A/C?

Thanks all.

Yes. The cooler is a cover for the A/C. We just cut up an old cooler and use it as a cover when we travel.

Paint job is a metallic blue, which appears light blue or silver depending on the lighting.

Happy Scamping!
