Brent - I used these guys for brake lights click here

They are 7-inch diameter and fit perfectly into the existing round space. But the catch is that they don't have a built-in thing to illuminate the license plate like many official brake lights do, so I'm having to engineer a solution to lighting up the plate.

Jen, I used one like this on my Boler.

Bolt On 12 LED white universal License Plate Light Lamp DRL Chrome Car Truck SUV | eBay

The only tricky bit was the wires were so small - hard to make the connections.

Humm, plastic you say... maybe flexible channel? You'll need the exact dimensions, but does it look like this?

thanks Donna d. looks similar, but don't think it is the right piece. will measure and looks at some of the alternatives. may be able to replace with one of these.

ordered my led lights.. was having issues with my Toyota wiring harness and I think the trailer lights were drawing to many amps.. thus frying my harness converter box? it is all over my head... but will get it sorted out.

The Optronic 7" bus-style taillight features 31 LED diodes. As an option, and four dollars more, a 61 LED diode 7" bus-style light is available here:
