Next Project??

Here is my newest addition. Burro 17 wide body. Front dinette, side bath with shower and rear bed/dinette. I am thinking of just doing a fluff instead of another extreem makeover!

This may be a good canidate for the Red Max Pro finish. The body is in great condition, just a little dull. A good scrubbing and some Red max should do the trick!

New wheels, tires and baby moon caps

Here are a few pictures of the Burro with its new wheels and tires with baby moon caps. It is ready to go on its maiden voyage this weekend!

Beautiful!!!!

I read your post about the baby moons that fit---but I can't find any 7.5 inch on line. Have you come across any!

Good work, Mark!

Vickie, here is the original listing from the baby moons. I am sure that this guy can get more if he is out of them since that is what he seems to do for a living. Scott B. and I both bought our moons from this guy. Maybe just send him an email to check availability.

Thanks, Mark

Will do---I checked around his store and didn't see that size, and I googled it--nothing---so I'll ask him directly!

Thanks!

Mark, I am in awe! It is absolutely cool!! Right now we are trying to find/fix an illusive leak in the front window, then ours will be done (at least for this year!) You have set the bar high, I can't say it enough....WAY COOL! Wish you were attending the Tin Can Tourist Rally in Dearborn Michigan this weekend!

Rose, I am attending the 6th annual Ohio gathering at Caesars Creek state park in Ohio. I am sure I will get around to more next spring, but that depends on if I can get the Wife to camp in this little thing more than just this weekend. I appreciate the nice comments on my camper, it has taken alot of time and $$$ to get it this far. I got carried away with different ideas while in the process of restoring it. Originally it was just going to be a small, easy fix-up job, but as you can tell it didn't go that way. Take lots of pictures at the tin can rally, I would like to see them when you get back.

Thanks, Mark

Pretty nifty, Mark! That is just super sharp. I like the baby moons much better than the spinners on your Burro, even though the spinners are a classic design.

Say, ever since you started this thread, I've been remembering a Boler 13 "Airstream" remodel that a fellow did a few years ago, and figuring that you would enjoy seeing and reading about it. It just took me a while to remember where to find it.

Here is the thread:
