what I'm thinking of...is I have a 40 at the moment, with 20' extension cord and stored inside...so now I get a 50 (2'x2'), mount it permanently of the roof.....sorta/kinda the "best of both worlds" ....trailer parked anywhere or on the road the 50 is charging....trailer set up in the shade, the 40 deployed away from the trailer in the sun...charging.....trailer set up on a bright sunny campsite.... now I got 90 watts working....big time charging....might just leave the
lights on all day.....LOL
the Coleman controller ought to handle the two panels (rated for 105W max) and 7 amps (I'll have 2.3 + 2.91)
It's just never ending this trailer work/upgrade/reno/fiddle, yada yada
I wish somebody would've warned me about that
and on the subjects of sources...just got these yesterday.....from "Deal Extreme".....like 2.20 for the smalls...3.30 for the biggies....only slight snag is the bulb male end supplied is smaller than 1156/1141 receptacles
so had to cut and twist some wires...delivery takes about three weeks...lots of weird and wonderful stuff on that site
Cheers, F
