First, the tongue length is adjustable, so as long as the tongue itself isn't structurally overloaded, that trailer can carry more than the usual.
lists the tongue weight
as 240 lbs, exactly 10% of the dry weight
of 2400 lbs, so it can stand a bit more when loaded, perhaps, depending on where the load it.
Sure beats trying to hang it out on the back!!!
Personally, I would have gone with a smaller generator
(lighter and perhaps quieter).
On Edit -- I see the Yamaha 3000 is actually quieter than the Honda 2000!
