Toli

Hans,

:ola The renovation looks fantastic.

Is Toli a parquet, wood overlay or carpeting?

Wow!

I want to know if you used actual Cherry wood. If so, I can only imagine how gorgeous that is. Wow! Did you piece it together or will you able to find a piece ready to cut? I assume that is also a piece of Cherry wood on the step-up....that is beautiful. You do very nice work.

Sorry for all the questions, but I really do like it. I've been wanting to make a really nice top for my side dinette and you have just inspired me back on track.

Boler interior

:wave
The table and door are Cherry plywood c/w a cherry veneer surface. The pieces are cut to size (table and doors) and than edged with cherry veneer. doorloccks with push button striker locks.
The floor is a very high grade linoleum from Japan. The product comes in strips of approx 5'x30". and are cut to size and inlaid and glued. The lower floor has a brass coloured surrounding inlay and the dividing strips are walnut grain (Toli). I cannot take the credit for anything exept the idea. All the work was done by Morgan Laviolette our cabinet shop foreman, who wanted to do this. He went way, way beyond our expectations. I'll post a picture soon of his work in progress on the flooring etc. It probably took Morgan 20 - 30 hrs to do(and redo) the floor until he was happy with it.
Thank you for your interests,
Hans

Faceboard.

I forgot, the faceboard is solid cherry.
We build luxury yachts, 65' and up and there are always some pieces left over.
The trailer has been raised, wheel wells cut out and jeep rims with 235 All terrain tires fitted. We also added a battery charged by the tow vehicle.

(TIP - inserted here because some good photos are not loading properly. I will move to Tutorials later.)

Photo uploads all need to be either .jpg or .gif files. I just looked at the upload folder and there are several uploads that probably cause everyone trouble. Here are some of the errors.
1. Wrong file type, should be .jpg or .gif (Do not use .BMP and do not leave blank.)
2. File type missing (i.e. “my-photo” should be “my-photo.jpg”)
3. Spaces left inbetween file name words (i.e. “my photo.jpg” should be “my-photo.jpg” NOTE: the hyphen between the two words so there are no spaces)
4. Photo file is too large. Size should be no larger then 500 pixels wide.
