Help! I tried searching forum and wasn't able to find a ton of info -or I should say, the info I wanted to hear.
We have Boler
13' 1979 with original Dometic RM211. It seems to work when perfectly flat and hooked up to electric at home. We are going to troubleshoot propane
- but the seals aren't great, racks inside are missing -the take home is: I'd like a refrigerator
that works reliably (a bit more efficiently?).
I found this thread from 2012: Replacement for older Dometic Fridge
I'm leaning towards replacing the unit completely. I would take a used working unit, completely fitted - but cannot find as easily as it was suggested in 2012. Some cooling units, but that doesn't address the dried out seals and missing racks.
1) Is it worth repairing?
2) Is there a made new replacement that FITS the space without modifying the counter? RM 2193 is too big, it looks like. We'd prefer a refrigerator
, but might end up with an icebox which I have seen suggested.
Many thanks in advance.
