'82 Scamp Restoration Project

Hi all! We bought our Scamp in Ludington, MI on 8/15/13, proud 4th owners, and here she is when we picked her up:

Walls and Seam Tape

I took a stiff brush and a bottle of Tilex with Bleach to all the Ensolite, got new seam tape up, and removed all the doors for painting.

Cleaned up the fridge, sink, and stove-top.

Floor

The old, smelly, nasty bur bur carpet had to go. Ended up with a bamboo colored vinyl flooring.

Screen Door

The previous owner or owners were really handy and skilled with wood. The front and rear storage compartments on the ceiling and this awesome frame and screen door are works of art. Got a new screen and added a threshold gap stopper to keep the bugs out.

Just placed an order for new decals, amber & red markers, spare tire cover and hopefully a new dining table.

Looking forward to getting the Scamp out of storage to finish my projects!

Any advice on cushion reupholstering or covering? Need something to cover up the 80's.

Thanks for the inspiration. It looks fantastic. I am jealous of your screen doors.

We had ordered new cushion covers & curtains for ours from Scamp (newer style blue color) cheeper than we probably could have made them ourselves.

Hi, I believe it was from Scamp, but I didn't order it. It was part of the deal when I bought the Scamp (it was in a storage compartment in the Scamp).
