'98 Scamp - Cat Fur OFF - Panel Up Next - Need Suggestions

I've been pulling the nasty cat fur from the inside of our '98 16' Scamp:

off the walls. Here's to the left of the bathroom door:

What we're planning on doing is putting up oak veneer plywood on the front wall. I'm looking for suggestions on attaching the wood. Right now I'm tending towards putting some furring strips on the fiberglass so I can run some wires behind the wall. Or... should I just glue directly to the 'glass? What about the edge. Should I butt up to the strip there or should I fur out far enough to cover that. Suggestions?

I don't suppose I'll get lucky enough that Any Of You would have a template of that curve sitting around. I know how to make one, but if someone already has one I'd do a happy dance and grovel at your feet.

Second note will be about bathroom door.

If you add furring strips it allows for a cavity behind the panel which could harbor other things than wires!

If you know what wires you will need I would run them and use flatwire then fix the veneer straight to the fiberglass.

And I would get the veneer as close to the edge as possible. Then I would use caulk in the thin gap left.

Just my two cents.

I just put up a new varnished ply ceiling in my Boler. I'll get pics up and posted soon.

The OP could use 1/4 inch ply and cut shallow grooves into the back side for the wires.

I would love to see that ceiling.
