Anyone ever remove their tv antenna?

I would like to remove our tv antenna from the roof since everything is digital signal now and its virtually useless. Has anyone done this? If so any tips on removing with minimal damage and how did you seal up the hole left behind?

Thanks in advance,

Don't understand your reasoning. Good old antennas work great for digital. The 35 year old antenna on my house and the one on my 2005 Casita work great.

Whoever told you it was useless is trying to sell you a new antenna. Leave it there and use it.

Baj when I first got my trailer it had an antenna and I said I would never have a TV in my trailer so took it off - in the place where the hole was - right over the table/bed I made the hole bigger and added a maxi fan. Which I love. I did leave all the wiring etc for the TV jacks in place though - glad I did as I added a TV last year - but now I'm sorry I dont have an antenna as I can only use the TV on its own when at a camp ground with cable or to watch movies. Purchased a small portable antenna to try out but not a lot of joy with it. Depending on what type of antenna you have on your Scamp you might want to take a look at the Camping World website as they may have a newer part you can add onto or replace the old one with that may work better than what you have.
