Attached Awning for a Boler 1300?

New Member here with tons of questions

I recently purchased a project 1974 Boler 1300. A few months ago I noticed a Boler that had one of those RV style awnings attached to it.

Were may one get information on that type or what do the seasoned pros recommend be added to the side of my Boler.

Thanks Guys

Question

Do you have an awning rail, or are you starting from scratch?

Congats on your new purchase and welcome. I prefer my pop up gazibo to my awning. It sets up quickly, is larger, has a screenroom, and takes up less room than my bag awning during transit.

Hi Fred

No, I don't have an awning rail so I would be starting from scratch.

O.K. Thanks Markz. Do you have the name of any suppliers or pics that could visually give me an idea?

Mine is a Coleman Max 10' pop up gazebo.

Some pictures of it set up are included towards the end of our youtube video detailing the work we completed on our Boler.

I had one of these installed on my VW Van a few years ago. It's the best thing since sliced bread! Inexpensive. Very light and easy to put up.
There's a guy on here somewhere who has one on his Boler.

Thanks Phil - that certainly looks unique and I can see that it would be easy to set up and take down. I am however looking for something that is screened in cause the Northwestern Ontario blackfly has teeth and a voracious appetite for human blood

I just bought a factory awning rail from a 73 boler. I was wondering if anyone has made there own awning to go in it. I am thinking rope and a canvas tarp of some sort.
