awlgrip paint

Hey.. painted my sail boat with this stuff 6 years ago and its still mint. any one ever paint a trailer with this ? i know its for boats but it worked really good .. and im about to paint my boler so i thought why not look in to it ay !

Cool! Awl Grip is some tough paint. Don't forget to use your respirator with that!

Pricey stuff though...

Ay? Is that the down East version of eh?

Yeah, anyone who's painted a boat with awlgrip or equivalent always raves about how much easier it is to keep clean. Pricey, but sort of a "forever" paint in terms of durability.

Awlgrip Home
Awl grip is great stuff. A bit dangerous to spray as it has isocyanates in it. It is very similar to Interlux Perfection.

If you wax it twice a year and keep it clean, it will look great for a very long time.

Where in NS are you? Nice place. I love it up there and want to go back next year. I bought my dog up there a few years back...she is having puppies in two weeks. And I finally sailed up there which was a wonderful trip with a perfect passage across the Gulf of Maine. I want to take my boat up to Bra d'Or lake. I could spend a month there.

I thought it was nice up there. One of my crew described it as frozen slush in the winter.
