90 lbs seems like a lot. Is that an RV model? I would be concerned about the weight and the support at one arm point would punch through the body of the trailer. It really isn't set up to deal with side loads.
Regards,
Matt

It's shown on a house, but they're installing them on RV's too.
You'd definitely have to reinforce the trailer- I installed spread-the-load plates inside my Trillium at all four points where my pulldown's attached.
My awning (all aluminum) weighs about 60 lbs total.
It seems to me that if folks can put 100 lbs of air conditioner on the fiberglass roof, the (stiffer) sides could accommodate the weight of this awning.
Unless it tips the trailer over!

What not to let happen to your awnining in the first place. Surprisingly it flipped back over, sprang into place then we tried to fold it up. It's in the garage waiting for parts.

$525 seems a little steep to me.

It's been a while since I bought mine, but the new price (complete) was as I remember almost $800.00, which I whittled down almost $300.00 by supplying my own fabric.
And this awning is the very expensive Sunbrella acrylic, not to mention the fancy hardware.
I'm almost tempted to buy this one and sell the one I've got to somebody here in the forum....

UPDATE!!!
I can't stand it...
Here it is on another site for $413.00
Sunbrella SUN2010 Heavy Duty 12x10 Foot Retractable Awning
I'm waiting for word back re. installation and actual wall length requirements.
This thing represents more shade than a 10x12 pop up canopy, and you don't have to stow it anywhere.
It's nearly twice the coverage I have now...gotta be a hitch somewhere

DANG!
You may be right...
Still, ever the optimist, I'm waiting to hear back from the seller about such details...

This is a picture of the bag awnings I put on mine I really love the way they fasten back to the camper slides right in the awning rail..I've had mine out while I was camping in Kansas with the wind around 30 mph and it held up very well..the picture is of one on a popup but you can see what I'm talking about..If your not in a hurry you can find them on E-bay every once in a while...oops now I'll be bidding agianst even more now ......
