awning poles

I'd love to hear some thoughts about poles to hold up awnings. Our Trillium came with a couple of poles that are strong, adjust easily and don't seem to rust. Problem is finding some more just like 'em. Tried phoning Trillium (Outback) in Calgary but couldn't get through. Canadian Tire and similar places carry poles but they rust after the first rain.

Post a photo of them and people might be able to tell you where to get similar ones.

I bought mine in two heights (3 foot long adjusts to almost 6 feet and 4 foot long that adjusts to almost 8 feet) from Camper's Village in Edmonton just after the name change from Northwest Tent & Awning. These are good, heavy duty aluminum poles that have had a workout over the past 30 years. Try a Tent & Awing company.
